Lovelorn: Windwolf by Charlotte Boyett-Compo is a multifaceted plot. Charlotte weaves a tapestry of love, romance, and adventure, into a fairy tale plot. The story contains a lot of violence but what else would you expect from a planet of werewolves. Overall Lovelorn: Windwolf is a very good read.

ROGUES AND ROMANCE REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo is an amazing writer. You just have to check out Bailey and Crevan in Windwolf! This one is really one to sink your teeth into.

Windwolf seems to pick right up where Spring Wind left off, making Bailey and Crevan characters to check out! Windwolf will leave rooting for Bailey and Crevan to win the fight. It will also leave hoping for the best, as things turn rough. Charlotte Boyett-Compo is at it again with Windwolf, as the story unfolds and just gets better and better!

MYSTIQUE BOOKS REVIEWS

Author Charlee Boyett-Compo's follow up to her fabulous SPRING WIND is the equally dazzling WINDWOLF. Wow! And may I say that Charlee has never been hesitant to apply the thumbscrewes--or other torture devices--to her Heroes? She doesn't hold back here either, but Van is one hot Alpha. Taking whatever is dished his way with true werewolf class: fangs, bloody revenge, and a tossed bedroom. (Hey, what's a few broken furniture pieces and necks among honest enemies?)

Starting soon after the end of SPRING WIND, WINDWOLF'S story jumps right into third gear, pitting Van and Bailey in the midst of a Revolution. What do they say? "Hell hath no fury"? Well Hell hath no fury like a werewolf in defense of his mate. Certain people should have remembered that. Sadly, they didn't and true to Charlee's fantastic story telling form, there were bodies, bombs, and brutal moments of torture.

But wasn't this a love story? Absolutely! One day, perhaps, my alpha might come knocking on my door. A gal can wish, can't she?

Class Four Sexuality and Five Mystique Moons. Cosmic! I'm waiting for the next book in this series. After all, there's 3 other Byrne brothers....

BITTEN BY BOOKS REVIEWS

Well, why don’t we take some shifters and throw them on a sci-fi world and add some humans. Sounds trite, right? Sounds like you’ve been there over and over and over again, yes? Well hang onto your e-readers, y’all, because you ain’t read nothing yet.

This is my first excursion into Boyett-Compo’s world, and I can promise you it won’t be my last. I recommend this book, and I will now have to research and see if there are companions to it because I want to know about the Doyle brothers. What happens to them?
