Every woman should have that one great love of her life.
She should be lucky enough to find a partner who will love her, tease her, make her smile, bring her laughter, and show her in every way that she is loved. That woman should have a best friend with whom to talk and share life's ups and downs. She should know encouragement, respect, kindness, cooperation, and support from her love. She should discover life's wonders and have someone beside her who will take her beyond the here and now. She should know great joy and wonderous anticipation at the end of the day.
I had such a love.
His name was Tom.
He was my precious Buddha Belly since our wedding on July 6, 1996. For nearly 43 years we stood as one and now I must walk the
road we had looked forward to in our golden years, alone. On April 18, 2009 at 7:45 AM, Tommy left this world for a far better one. With his leaving, he left a
huge hole in my heart that will never be filled.
He will always be the Love of My Life.
He was...and still is...the Wind Beneath My Wings.
I'll not say goodbye. I will say until we are together again...sleep easy, my love.

But to every sailor, comes time to drop anchor,
Haul in the sails and make the lines fast;
You deep-water dreamer, your journey is over;
You're safe in the harbor at last;
You're safe in the harbor at last.
