ROMANCE JUNKIES REVIEWS

HARDWIND is a story that really draws you in and have you reading long into the night. Daire is dangerous and sexy with an attitude that you just know will send shivers up and down your spine. Star is an understanding heroine who is there for him whenever he needs her. The villian in this tale is Daire’s boss who is jealous of the relationship that he shares with Star and will stop at nothing to break them up. Charlotte Boyett-Compo is a talented author with a string of best sellers, fans will want to pick up this book and see what plot twists she comes up with for Daire and Star.

JUST EROTIC ROMANCE REVIEWS

HardWind is an interesting erotic romance thriller. Ms. Boyett-Compo keeps the plot twisting and turning. It is intriguing with the glimpses of Cumberland Group that had me turning each page. Dáire’s relationship with Jackson was a hoot. Their camaraderie is genuine. The sex simmers between the characters. The plotline leaves you with no doubt that the villain is the nastiest person around with the henchmen falling very close behind. The evil portrayed in the book was outstanding and I highly recommend the book for the thrilling plot and interesting secondary characters.

COFFEETIME ROMANCE REVIEWS

The emotions this story brings out are unbelievable. The vindictive and despicable Gentry will make your temper ignite. You will feel sorrow for Dáire and all he is forced to endure by her. However, there is also a lot of joy and happiness in this story. In addition to all that, Star and Dáire practically smolder with heated lust for each other. Besides the suspense, this author treats her readers to a wonderful sense of humor throughout the book. This is one story well worth taking the time to read.

EURO-REVIEWS

This is an intriguing novel with the good plotting and characterizations I’ve come to expect from this author. Ms. Boyett-Compo knows how to spin romantic suspense and keep the reader intrigued. A rare turn is the inclusion of a female villain of the rank of Tyndall Gentry, who will remain in the reader’s memory for quite a while to come. I recommend this one for readers looking for straightforward suspense and committed romance, with a truly sexy and appealing hero and heroine.

FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo has once again made me cry before the end of the first chapter. She has such a mastery of the written word that she can, and will, rip your heart out. To have your emotions rollercoaster the way that they do while reading her books makes each one a bittersweet experience. There is always some little thing that you, as the reader, are able to identify with, and that’s what makes each of her reads so emotional. The absolute despair that her characters have to face and overcome make HardWind another in a long line of poignant books that make you look into the face of desperation and cheer for her heroes and heroines. Dáire is forced to do things that he would not normally imagine doing in order to save his life and the lives of others. To be given no choice is the worst of all tortures. Star plays a magnificent supporting role in this book, but to me, it is all Dáire. I have to say that I am both dreading and anticipating the release of Ms. Boyett-Compo’s next book.

EROTIC-ESCAPADES

I don’t know how Ms. Boyett-Compo comes up with some of her characters but from the funny to the sublime, she is
able to create heroes and heroines that have you falling on the floor laughing one moment and wishing you could strangle
them the next. The situations Dáire and Star went through were not only hard but seemed insurmountable at times.
The couple is hot, sexy and model perfect in looks but living a life filled with danger and the threat of death. I was a little
surprised at Ms. Boyett-Compo’s willingness to saddle her hero with pretty evident flaws. From being a little self-
absorbed with a needy personality, to his lack of action when it came to eradicating the major problem in his life, he was
definitely not perfect. This made him more real for me and made the story more enjoyable. Another plus about Hard
Wind was that the hero, Dáire, has the spotlight. A well deserved spotlight that highlighted a fast, intriguing, very
dangerous life. Just in case I haven’t sold you on this story yet, Dáire and Star’s sex life is just as perfect as the bodies
they use for pleasure. With intense and heated trysts that continually burn the sheets to the gentle calming and
connecting after their personal storm is over. These two are definitely a pair made in carnal heaven. I’ve read a few of
Ms. Boyett-Compo’s Wind stories but after noticing she has dozens of books I’ve missed out on, I will absolutely
explore her style of story telling in more detail.
This is not a book for a person easily offended with crude statements or downright unpleasant behavior. There is also
a forced sexual situation that some might find offensive.

LOVE ROMANCES REVIEWS

Looking for a story wrought with danger, insanity and a love worth dying for? Then you need look no further than HARD WIND by Ms. Boyett-Compo. This tale is a wild roller coaster of a ride with a villain and her lackeys that you will love to hate; a hero that can be just as evil as the villains, and a heroine who will do what it takes to protect her interests. Sit down, buckle up and be prepared to be taken by a HARD WIND.
HARD WIND ire is all alpha and utterly gorgeous. Heis all about the characters. Da is a man who loves and hates with an equal passion. Star is a feisty, ire’s match. Gentry is anindependent heroine that is more than Da ire is prepared to ensure thatobsessed woman who if she can not have Da no one can. There are also several other well developed secondary ire’ best friendcharacters that add much to the tale, especially Da Jackson who is always ready with a wise crack.
This reviewer highly recommends HARD WIND to any readers who enjoy romantic suspense. It has to be one of the best this reviewer has read this year.

ECATAROMANCE SENSUAL REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo writes a hard-hitting story filled with action, adventure, suspense and torture scenes that should not be read by the feint of heart. Dáire lives his life to the fullest and he loves the same way. Dáire’s feelings for Star burn up the pages of this book. I could not put HardWind down and would love to read more stories like it.

THE ROMANCE STUDIO

This is a very exciting suspense novel with very hot love scenes. Star is a very sympathetic character, dealing with a Down's Syndrome child, a thriving business, and a man who is unable to commit to her fully. Daire is caught between a rock and a hard place; he loves Star, but is unable to leave his job outside of a pine box. Gentry is a sadistic and obsessive character and her bodyguard strangely sympathetic. The other characters are well drawn and a bit bizarre, including the ex FBI agent Jackson. This novel reads very quickly and is an entertaining and satisfying read.

SCARLET'S MUSINGS BLOG
Hardwind is an edgy and fast moving erotic thriller. I was captivated by the relationship between Dáire and Star. They had sexual chemistry that leapt off the pages, and the reader warning was very appropriate; sexually explicit with steamy love scenes. With a vividly presented emotional conflict between Dáire, Star, and Tyndall there was no doubt in my mind this would be a rocky journey for two people who were meant to be together. Together, Dáire and Star are a formidable force to be reckoned with. Tyndall is a truly obsessed and nasty individual while Daniel Jackson, Dáire’s friend and partner, is a charming one. I thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced storyline, the brilliant characterization, and unique twist to an old scenario. Charlotte Boyett-Compo is a gifted writer to watch. Her storylines drawn the reader right into the midst of the conflict and doesn’t let them go until the dramatic conclusion.
