EURO-REVIEWS

Sexy and laugh out loud funny. Eanan fights being the husband of three gorgeous women simply because he hadn’t chosen even one of them as his wife. But the three beauties change his mind for him in a night of long passion and fun lovin’. He initiates each bride into womanhood and shows her how to be the lover he wants. Each one is different but he falls hard for Argent and the feeling is mutual. I like how Charlotte was able to lay to rest the discomfort Eanan has about the jealousy issue he thinks might come up with his new wives. And I loved the way the ladies set a certain someone in their place. This is a great book in the (Western Wind) series.

JUST EROTIC ROMANCE REVIEWS

WestenWind 7: Embrace the Wind is a fast-paced story that is well written and full of fun. Although this book is a stand alone you will probably enjoy it more if you have read the other books in the series. I haven’t read the last few and I feel that I may have missed some background history in those books. I love the Reapers and they get better with each book that Ms. Boyett-Compo writes. There is something about a strong, handsome man that knows his place in the world and is willing to take what he wants. Eanan is another of these delicious alpha males. The Gatekeepers, Argent Ben-Alkazar, Corallin Tarnes, and Aureolin Belvoir, are horny young women that want to experience passion and companionship. They each have their own needs and desires and it takes a man like Eanan to satisfy them. The only thing that I was a little disappointed about is the sex in this book isn’t as hot as in Ms. Boyett-Compo’s previous books. Although she does pack a good variety in a short few pages there are some things that some readers might find objectionable like some bondage and anal sex. This story is a nice addition to the WesternWind series.

COFFEETIME ROMANCE REVIEWS

Embrace the Wind is a powerfully erotic love story between one man and three very influential women. The emotions expressed between the three are very powerful, and I especially liked how the bond between Argent and Eanan developed throughout the story. While I understood how the psychic relationship between the three women worked, I was not convinced that the other two sisters would over time be content with just deep affection from Eanan, while he was clearly in love with Argent. Still I enjoyed reading this story and recommend it to those who enjoy some ménage a trois with their science fiction.

PARANORMAL ROMANCE REVIEWS

EMBRACE THE WIND is a bit different than the rest of the WESTERN WIND SERIES. There are no battles, no rogues, and no other creatures involved in this story. But what Charlotte Boyett-Compo does give us is background on the Gatekeepers and the opportunity to know them quite a bit better-their very different personalities, histories, brothers. This story provides a bit of fun and laughter in the series. There is still conflict as Eanan must resign himself to his fate and worries about any jealousy among the three women. I can't wait to see how the Shadowlords deal with Eanan after this. And how the Gatekeepers deal with their brothers.

ROMANCE REVIEWS TODAY EROTIC

Keep the fire extinguishers handy. Seldom has one man been so besieged and loved as Eanen Tohre, all under protest, of course. EMBRACE THE WIND is not your usual Reaper story. It is by turns, hot, funny, poignant and loving. Add in politics, edicts and brotherly threats, uh, admonitions, and the reader has a very interesting story. Charlotte Boyett-Compo shows that she does have a lighter side and that a Reaper can be almost as human as those he protects. Charlotte makes it work. I recommend EMBRACE THE WIND.

FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

Eanan is a character I had to grow to like and appreciate after his first appearance in this series. He has shown that he regrets his past indiscretions and wants to make amends. Eanan has endured punishment for centuries, so for him to gain the love and devotion of the sisters was a fitting reward. The sisters are all beautiful, intelligent, and giving. I’ve read a bit about them in each book, but seeing them demanding, commanding, and possessive changed my opinion of them. If it’s at all possible, I think I acquired a bit more respect for them. Charlotte Boyett-Compo has become one of my favorite authors in the year since I’ve started reading the erotic tales of the Reapers. She has a style that is uniquely her own and weaves believable characters into surreal worlds. If you are new to Charlotte Boyett-Compo or the WesternWind series you are in for a treat. But I would definitely start at book one to get the full scope of this fantastic series.

JOYFULLY REVIEWED

Embrace the Wind was a tantalizing taste into Charlotte Boyett-Compo’s world of Reapers. This story is better read in the order of the series. I didn’t and was still able to enjoy it, but was a little bothered by what I missed in between Owen’s tale and this one. Embrace the Wind was a fun romp with a delicious sampling of what her Reapers are capable of.
