Mikhail Fallon is one deadly bad ass and as alpha as they come. He is a hell hound reaper who causes fear in the other things that go bump in the night. He is a member of the Exchange, an organization that polices the world of the paranormal. He meets his match when he is paired with sexy, smart and sassy Keenan McCullough. She pushes his buttons from the moment they meet and they can't keep their hands off each other. As their relationship grows, there are other people determined to keep them apart.
Ms. Boyett-Compo leads you on a well written emotional roller coaster that had me switching between pulling out my hankie, holding my sides laughing, and trying to cool off from the passion. Although this is a longer novel than most electronic books, it is so fast paced that you don't notice the length. I found myself completely relating to the heroine. She terrorizes the hero just to get a rise out of him and doesn't back down when he challenges her. She lets him know that she is her own woman, willing to compromise but not be pushed around. The complex villains are revealed like an onion...layer by layer. The sex scenes are numerous, passionate and emotional. They work perfectly to enhance the relationship of the main characters; however, I did feel that they were edited to feel more like they were written for mass market rather than erotic romance, as the actual graphic language seemed spare. Though I wouldn't exactly consider Dancing on the Wind an erotic romance for the reason I mentioned above, the story is so well written that I would recommend it as a keeper.

FROM A READER:
I read "Dancing on the Wind" as soon as I downloaded it Friday. It was, it was, I just can't find the right words to say how wonderful the book was. I loved how you set up the story, and the interaction between Misha and Keenan was perfect. I loved the character of Coim. Will we see him in future stories? Also, will we learn more about the "supervisor?" All we know now is that he's a Shadowlord. I want to know more about him. Will we see Misha and Keenan in future stories like we do with Viraiden and Bronwyn? I would love it if we did. Thank you so much for another wonderful story. I am anxiously waiting for more.

THE ROMANCE STUDIO

I’ve been a very avid reader of Ms. Boyett-Compo’s books for the past two years, and I couldn’t wait to read this book to see if it live up to many of her previous works. Well it started off with a definite bang as most of her books usually do, with a mixture of action, adventure and sometimes heartache and sorrow, her books are never boring or the same. You always find something either in common with one of the character’s portrayed in her books. This story started off with Mikhail Fallon a hurt soul who had suffered a tremendous blow and was not a happy camper. Then to find out he was getting a psychic to work with as a partner, well let’s say it didn’t go down well. But Keenan McCullough was a very tough cookie, Knew what she wanted and stood up to Mikhail when he went macho on her in one of his frequent moments. I enjoyed reading this book. It truly lived up to my expectations of it. The whole story was spell binding and the plot moved smoothly with each character within the story. Another winner for Ms. Boyett-Compo.

Charlee pulled this one out of another world. Be forewarned, you’re gonna need a box of Kleenex, I did. The detail and emotion that Charlotte is known for is packed into this book. I loved the growling, alpha Fallon and as always, the heroines are no pushovers. Within the first chapter, you feel the love Fallon has for Keenan and as their story unfolds, you grieve with them, laugh with them and about all…you love with them. Thank you Charlee for another fantastic tale. I love your Reapers!

ROMANCE JUNKIE REVIEWS

Interesting is just one word to describe this story. Plenty of twists and turns prove why Charlotte Boyett-Compo is a popular author. Fallon really gets a kick out of annoying Keenan on every hand, which readers will highly enjoy. Keenan on the other hand soon figures out just what to do to irritate Fallon and then it’s on. The love scenes are explosive and full of hot and steamy sensual interludes. Charlotte Boyett-Compo is known for her WIND series and after reading this story it’s easy to see why. She is sure to gain many more fans with this fantastic tale.

LITERARY NYMPHS REVIEWS
5 Nymphs - An outstanding read. The reviewer found this book a credit to its genre!

Dancing on the Wind brings us up close and personal to a modern day Reaper. Mikhail is tall, dark, and dangerous with a libido to put a seventeen year old to shame. He has years of skills that come in handy inside and outside of the bedroom. Keenan is small, feisty, and determined. Her beauty is personified internally and externally. Mikhail had no idea love would hit him so hard, or that Keenan could put such a strong hold on his heart. Watching these two was like watching firecrackers explode for no apparent reason. You know there has to be a match causing them to react; you just never know when it’s going to touch the wire. Charlotte Boyett-Compo has become one of my favorite authors. Mrs. Boyett-Compo’s Reaper stories never leave you wanting. The characters are well written and the plot and scenery always pull you into the novel. She combines a bit of suspense, drama, horror, action and erotic play to keep you on your toes. I have never been disappointed with one of her stories and that holds true with Dancing on the Wind. If you enjoy the genre or the Reaper series, you are in for a delightful treat.

SIMPLY ROMANCE REVIEWS

A+
Dancing on the Wind is an amazing story! It is the first book I’ve read by Charlotte Boyett-Compo but it definitely will not be my last and the story is already on my Keeper Shelf. The plot is complex, with so many twists and turns you will be trying to catch your breath and read faster all at the same time. The story grabs you, ties you in knots and doesn’t let go until the very last word. Between the dangerous missions and the smoldering erotic scenes you will need to keep an icy cold drink nearby. From the beginning I was hooked and experienced each emotion as if it were my own; with the real possibility that the characters will not find their happily ever after there were several times I reached for the tissues as I cried for their torment.
Alpha agent Misha Fallon doesn’t want a partner but that’s just what he gets. Given no choice in the matter he has to accept Keenan McCullough as his “extension.” She is a human and he sees no need for her after all he’s a reaper and can take care of himself.
The first time Keenan sees him Misha explodes out of the Supervisor’s office and screams that he doesn’t need or want a partner. Obviously Keenan’s not all that happy with the arrangement either but also has no choice in the matter and she accepts her fate. Misha thinks to scare Keenan off with his surly and suggestive attitude but is in for the shock of his life when the opposite occurs.
There is not one wasted word in Dancing on the Wind, each character stretched to their limits, each scene significant, touches of humor and edge of your seat tension throughout. There are plots and subplots and Ms. Boyett-Compo still manages to write all of her characters in a way that they can’t be ignored. Dancing on the Wind is one hell of a book. I couldn’t put it down and actually read well into the early morning hours until I had finished. If you have never read anything written by this author then I suggest you do, and if you’re already a fan make sure you don’t miss this one.

LOVES ROMANCE AND MORE
Ms Boyett-Compo has done her usual superb job with creating characters that are vivid enough to come alive, strong yet with weaknesses that cause them to seem so real. The dialogue between Fallon and Keenan is witty and at times, downright humorous. The secondary characters really contribute to the story and will leave the reader guessing on just who is the real villain.
And if a good storyline filled with tension, believable characters and hot sex isn’t enough to draw you in, Ms. Boyett-Compo has a real treat for her Reaper lovers in Fallon. He is rather unique. Want to learn more? Then be sure to pick up your copy of DANCING UPON THE WIND today!

ALTERNATIVE-READS REVIEWS
Keenan McCullough, agent and psychic, unfortunately completely human, is assigned to partner with an Alpha bad ass everyone else is afraid of. He's just not as bad as he thinks he is; or at least not with her. She's simply not prepared for this overwhelming urge to eat him like a chocolate bar every time they get close to one another. Not to mention it's interfering with their mission.
What happens when the company's biggest, baddest agent bonds with the psychic human assigned to partner him? Other than staying perpetually aroused, jealous, and mad as hell at the boss who set them up? Try to concentrate on his assignment, ignore his erection, reconcile himself to becoming monogamous and get to know the woman driving him out of his mind.
Wow, science fiction, fantasy and myth mixed with science fact in a contemporary setting full of intrigue, murder, betrayal, mythological beings and some really exciting lovemaking. I found the blending of fact and fiction a bit smoother than I thought it might be while the plot twists were enough to keep the biggest mystery fan happy. It was overall a read that is worth a re-visit.

PARANORMAL ROMANCE REVIEWS
Fallon is an agent at the Exchange. He hunts the things that go bump in the night, he is also a hell hound. He works alone and wants it to stay that way. Being assigned a psi extension doesn't please him, the fact that it's a women that dares to read romance novels infuriates him. In his desperation to scare her off he ends up bonding them. Now he's stuck with her whether he wants it or not. Either way losing her is not an option.
Keenan's first day at the Exchange is not her best to say the least. Her partner is not happy to have her and immediately doubts her abilities and qualifications. Not only that he is more than trying to scare her. Bonding is the last thing she wants, she wants her freedom. But how can she resist a man that is so tempting and that she has to protect?
Dancing on the Wind is a scorching and touching story that examines what happens when a being loses someone that they love. You will immediately sympathize with Fallon as he begins to go through the stages of grief. His mind and soul are both threatened as he gets lost in memories that are both loving and scorching.

BITTEN BY BOOKS REVIEWS

Dancing on the Wind is very well written and has a cast of secondary characters I hope to read more about, especially the funny yeti like creature called Coim. Like her other novels, Ms. Boyett-Compo doesn’t leave you wanting for action of any kind. It is fast paced, and was a thoroughly enjoyable read. While the book does reference other aspects of the Wind Legends books, it is truly a stand alone. I highly recommend this book and author. Her writing is addictive, and you can be sure that this reviewer will be reading everything put out by her.
